About

You matter.

Things are not going well. You’re looking to start therapy because you have real problems, difficult emotions, troubling thoughts, and you feel tired.

Often, you’re not even talking to your close friends about these things. It is nerve-racking to reach out for help, trusting someone who claims they can help (that’s me, your potential therapist – your guide).

You will receive no judgment when you come into my office. Whether we are working through trauma, deep emotional pain, mood instability, addiction, grief, betrayal, relationship issues, or challenging family dynamics, we will take the time to understand your story.

In therapy, you will have the space to be authentic, acknowledge complex thoughts, work through emotional pain, and heal yourself and your relationships. You will feel seen and understood. You don’t need to do this alone.

Therapy provides a safe place for healing.

You’re smart and have worked hard at changing. The thought of going to therapy and having nothing change is scary.

Willingness to fight for change is a strength; change does not occur without work. We won’t sugarcoat, use a cookie-cutter approach, or participate in whack-a-mole chasing symptoms. That game is one best left in the 1980s.

Changes start and end with wanting to make change happen. Nothing changes unless you take the first step.

We will effectively use tools that provide solutions.

You will learn and use the right tools at the right time to help you make long-term changes.

We will use research and evidence-based approaches that make healing and lasting change possible.

Hope is real. Healing is possible.

About Me

My goal is to help you live the life you deserve.

The greatest honor of my life is when I sit with people and hear their stories. One of my natural gifts is having a calm, safe, and non-reactive presence.

I am on a mission to increase connection and help people have the life and relationships of their dreams. My passion for relationships is contagious. This passion led me to seek specialized training in working with couples and families and treating trauma, grief, and anxiety.

I have a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy, published research on parenting and co-parenting, and teach graduate courses on family and couples therapy. I have over a decade of experience in the field.

When I am not at work…

I rejuvenate by enjoying time in the great outdoors, playing with my kids, listening to an audiobook, and cheering on the Utah Jazz.

I consider it an honor to walk alongside people and provide support in life’s journey.

I’m here for you. Please send me a message today to schedule a free consultation.
